Well, it's been awhile, hasn't it?

Um, did I tell you guys about Anime Iowa? It oozed awesome. I was able to see some of my good friends, go to some great events, and I just loved it. I wish I could go back amoung the nice people.

School started. It's okay. I like most of my teachers, and the classes are okay. I also joined the Gay Straight Alliance, or the GSA. It's really fun, and I've met a few people.

And now I'm just sitting back in my chair, watching some South Park. I really don't wanna go to church in the morning.

One) I swear, if I hear one more explanation on how to play Super Mario Sunshine, followed by "Duh", I'm going to mentally explode. I know I suck at video games, but yeah, I'm not stupid.

Two) Dibs Bite-Sized Ice Cream Snacks are good for your soul. Like Krabby Patties.

Three) Why do I have to go to bed at midnight? :( I don't have my alone, night-time free time much anymore, which makes me sad on the inside.

Four) If you were a car, instead of a boy, you'd have headlights instead of eyes, and tires instead of feet~

...Or not.

As I stated in my last journal, I said I would be going to Vans Warped Tour with my dad today. Honestly, it was really, really cool! I mean, most of the bands that played were Alternative and Punk, which are my favorite genres of music. So, a whole day fest for my favorite kind of music? I'm there.

I, mainly, wanted to go and see Motion City Soundtrack, but they didn't come on until later, say, 5, and we got there around 11 AM. Yeah. There were about six stages scattered around a big area, along with booths for all of the bands (about 50), and Myspace and Rockband. So, along with getting to hear some other bands, I got CDs at a pretty cheap price compared to store price, and a few shirts. But, I'll get to that later.

So, let's see. I don't remember all the bands I went to go see, but I did go see Angels and Airwaves. Although I don't think AVA will ever be as good as Blink-182 was, they were pretty good live. My dad even liked them! In my opinion, that's saying something. I remember that Cobra Starship was there, too, but I listened to them from a distance. I like them; it's just that I was eating a pretty tuckered out by the time they came on. Story Of The Year was there, right before and next (stage wise) to Motion City. And... I'll have to look up the rest of the bands I saw, because I can't remember.

Now, on to Motion City Soundtrack. Before the show started, they were signing things and autographs. To make a long story short, I got to the front of the line by pure luck. The whole band signed a T-shirt and a card I got, and the lead singer blessed me. Dad and I wondered to the stage they were going to, and I suggested we should go to the middle of the floor, thinking that would be a good idea.

Yeah, not so much.

The very second MCS went on, every single one of the people there rushed towards the stage, dragging us along, pushing and bumping. Now, keep in mind, I have a small body frame compared to the rest of the people around me, and I don't exactly have the greatest balance in the world. So, I was bound to get crushed and hurt if dad didn't get me out of there. While this is amazing, that's not what blew me away.

The band stoopped playing in the beginning of a song to stop the crowd to let me (and perhaps others, I didn't look) get through to the back of the crowd, where it was safe, and they said to let people through and to be safe. While this shouldn't surprise me, considering as they've done so before for others at shows I've gone to before, I started screaming as loud as I could, "Thank you! Thank you so much! I love you! Thank you!" while running to the back through the parted floor. Once I got there, all was cool, and I started screaming my heart out with the lyrics. Dad was ok, too.

That was, basiclly, the highlight of my first Vans Warped Tour, and I would go back next year. I also got a hold on a Ludo, Angels and Airwaves Anberlin, and the Warped Tour mix CD, as well as some shirts. Still, though, I had a pretty good time!

Yeah, a couple of things:

1) I'm going to go to Vans Warped Tour this Sunday with my dad. Motion City Soundtrack will be headlining, and a bunch of other bands will be there, too. I'm so glad my dad is able to take me, seeing as the last time Motion City came, I couldn't go. So yeah, that should be fun. ^_^

2) Anime Iowa is two weeks away. This I am excited for on so many epic levels that I feel like I might explode. Seriously, it's going to be a blast! I still need to do stuff, though, before the big weekend.

3) I... love my local channels. 45 and My 29 in the Twin Cities are so awesome. Why? Because my weeknights are now filled with Fraiser and Simpsons, with an hour of both (though Simpsons not back-to-back). Don't get me wrong, I love cable (especially Cartoon Network and Comedy Central), but, seriously, I love curling up in my bed at night, giggling over Kelsey Grammer's angry tone, or trying to figure out if this episode is a really old one on The Simpsons. It's great.

4) Why must you already show back to school ads? As far as I'm concerned, I still have a month left. Man, I don't want to go back to high school. Last year was better than 8th grade, but science class was horrible. I started the ugly habit of biting my nails because of the people in that class.

5) Wow, I completed level four on Devil May Cry 3 today. Yeah, I know, it's amazing. I suck at video games so much, yet I adore to play them. I haven't played DMC3 in a good two or so weeks, so I got bored today, and pulled it out. Yeah, I still get lost in the chamber thing, but I beat the big demon thing in that one section that looks like a worm with powers that flys. Hurray for using other weapons besides your gun! Oh, and the boss to follow? He's creepy, yet I love his voice. "Welcome to Hell!"

6) Why is it that when I looked up Toys R Us videos on YouTube, I still got bright inside like a small child? I mean, I know I have a young heart, but still. I should go buy a McFlurry, take a bus there, and go buy every piece of Wall.E and Simpsons merch I possibly can with 20 bucks, then go back to my house, blast "Can You Feel The Sunshine?" from Sonic R and "The Very Reason That I Live" through some speakers, and have alittle slash tea party with all the merch I just bought. This is what a McFlurry does to my system. It's awesome, and slightly scary.

Yeah, so between Sailor-Phantom and I, we started a crossover RP, with Simpsons, Wall.E, Phineas and Ferb, and Pokemon. Yeah, and they all go to the movies! Woo! So, yeah. She's Rakella and I'm Syd. And the RP is gonna be under this cut and marked for 14+ because of slashy incest and for what may happen in the future~

A groan came ffrom the other side of the room. A man in his middle age sighed, sticking on a tie in front of the mirror. The long-blue haired figure came over, dressed in something light purple. He curled and brushed back his red, curly hair. "I don't understand why you drag me to these things, Mel."
"Because," he smiled, watching Bob's eye twitch from playing with his hair, "to repay me, because I freed your soul from that prison." This was true.

"Eeeevaaa?" The small, dirty robot glanced up at the clean robot that he hoped, prayed, and wished wasn'rt apart of his dreams. There they stood, outside of a small movie theater, waiting. The other three couples would be here soon, but, for now, WALL.E tried hard to get EVE to notice him. And although she wasn't right now, he would make her by the end of this --- he believed the humans called it a movie date.

Then, she stepped out. Her hair was let down in an ocean wave, and her dress was like the sun, sparkles and as. And his heart started pounding. "Ready to go, Ash?"

"Boy, this is gonna be so exciting!" The red-headed teen grinned. "I wonder who's gonna be there? I wonder what's playing?"

But, the man of few words was cut off by a small, dirty robot as they walked down the sidewalk, apporching the theater. He offered his hand, and looked up. "Wall.EEEEE." Then, he pointed to the white bot. "Evaaaaaa."

"Will you quit playing with my hair!" The homocidal crimal stood up angrily from his chair, and headed towards the door. Mel, in the backgrownd, frowned a bit, but he sooned brighted, and let out a "AHEM!" as Bob opened the door. He only had to turn around, and see his hand wiggling to get the message. So, she started floating towards the enterance, leaving a very sad Wall.E behind. But he wasn't going to give up! He began rolling after them. Thankfully, they had stopped.

"You need candy to get in!" A little boy giggled a whale-like sound. "Hehe, 'cause candy's the best treasue ever! That, and adventure. And K'nuckles. And..." The little blonde haired boy continued talking, making it easy for them to sneak past.

"Mel..." Bob's eyes shifted. They were now in public. On the street. Holding hands. "What if people see us?"
"Like it matters." He let off a warm smile. "Let them stare. Love is grand!"
"Yeah..." he continued, "But, what about this friend of yours? She won't know that-"
"No, she doesn't know you're a crimal ("which, you're not") and yes, she does know that you and I fancy homosexuals."

After four or so blocks, the Pokemon trainers reached the theater. Ash let out a huge sigh. "Misty! WHY didn't we just take the car?!"

Too late. Being attached to one's hip wasn't fun. They walked over, and he, for once, let go of his boyfriend's hand for a quick squeeze and a fellow greeting. Then, of course, he latched back on with tender love. "Misty, I'd like you to meet my boyfriend, Robert."

Part of him killed over on the inside, but the sideshow was used to faking. He had done so many times with Bart Simpsons, in so many manners. Carefully, he wiped off his hand with his sleeve, and offered. "Please to meet you, miss. Call me Bob."

She took it. "Nice to meet you, Bob." The redhead nudged her date, "This is Ash."

Summer Break

That's right. As of yesterday, school was out for me. Hurray! Now, I can make more writing/art/videos and such in the spare time I have. Then I'm going to Anime Iowa in August. I'm looking forward to that. 8D

Anime Club is tonight. Thus, meaning that I get to chill out, eat junk food, watch Anime, and hang out with my real life buddies. Yay! ^^ I spaced out though on which Anime we're watching tonight, though. For some reason, I'm thinking Cowboy Bebop. I don't think that's it, though. Ah, well. I'll probably be happy reguardless.

Why Did I Get Married?

Good movie. Not the best, but it was still good nonetheless.

All the girls were cute, I'll give you that right now. ^^ It was a bittersweet movie, though. Alot of it was sad, but it had it's humor moments. Plus, it had a happy ending (well, sorta). Which is good, because I like happy endings.

So, yeah. I guess if you have time to kill, you should go see "Why Did I Get Married?".

(Yeah, I'm too lazy to type a whole review, can't you tell? XP)

Why, hello there! I am known on the web, most of the time, as Anime Blob, or, on DevaintART, CartoonBlob. But here, I shall go by ToonFudge! ^_^ I'm very new to LiveJournal, so if I act, er, newb-ish, you'll have to pardon me. ^^; Hopefully, I'll learn the ropes very quickly, though.

I'm a huge fan of animation, so if I start babbling about toons, Anime, or stuff I like, that's why. XD I like it! I'm a fanfiction writer and a fanartist, too.

So, um, that's about it for now. Peace out!
